Greetings, fellow Doctors!
It is our distinct pleasure to personally invite you to join our dynamic Society,
and we commend you for your interest to become a part of this association.
Cleft and Craniofacial Surgery has so expanded that it has now become a challenging
and exciting sub-specialty. We all realize that the cleft and craniofacial surgeon
is no longer a virtuoso but it entirely dependent on a multidisciplinary approach
for a proper solution to his problems.
Recent advances have brought us closer to achieving the major goal of complete rehabilitation
of an individual born with cleft and carniofacial anomalies.
To achieve this goal a well coordinated, effective and mutually supportive team
is necessary. In India, there are large number of cleft surgeons, speech pathologists,
orthodontist and other specialists who work for cleft children but like a jigsaw
puzzle. We need to bring them together as a team to improve the rehabilitation of
these cleft children.
The Indian Society of Cleft Lip, Palate and Craniofacial Anomalies was established
in 2002, with the aim of involving all the specialists concerned in correcting these
anomalies. By working together and critically analyzing our work and especially
with the numbers and the talent that we have we will be able to make an outstanding
contribution to the progress of the science and art of cleft surgery.
We, on behalf of the Indian Society of Cleft lip, Palate & Craniofacial Anomalies
sincerely crave your cooperation and request you to become a member of this society.
We will be happy to answer any queries that you have.
